Dear Green Bay Sky Divers,
I'd like to give a BIG thank you to Green Bay Sky Divers, especially Andy and Eric for making yesterday a family event we'll never forget. We decided to do the jump because Misty and Jesse thought it would be a great way to celebrate Jesse's golden 23rd birthday. And, it was!! We even got to watch the annual pumpkin drop.
First, Andy and Eric took my children Misty and Jesse on their first tandem jump. You both did an excellent job preparing them, making them feel safe and then making the actual jump an exciting one. Jesse will have a good story as Andy had to keep his composure while he made adjustments to a minor parachute problem. Misty also has a good memory as she was scared and forgot to tuck her legs which made the exit a bit exciting. No matter, both had a great time.
Second, Bad Andy did an outstanding job taking me, a 54 year old guy afraid of heights on my first jump. He kept me calm the entire way from take off, to the exhilarating free fall and smooth landing. Eric also was appreciated as he also kept me relaxed and did a great job videoing the skydive. I can't wait to see the completed DVD. I thought I kept my composure pretty well, but Eric did catch my "Oh Shit" expression as Andy and I actually left the plane. Other than that moment I was thrilled all the way down. I enjoyed every second of it. As I said to my kids, what a rush!!!
Thanks again to Andy, Eric and Green Bay Sky Divers. Rest assured we'll be recommending you to all our friends and hopefully be back next summer for jump number two.
